Finding a job the easy way

A search for job opportunities on The Kingman Daily Miner Web site just got easier.

Beginning now, people looking for employment options can get a more complete list of job openings in the tri-city area in just a few seconds at www.kdminer.com.

Colleen Machado, advertising manager for the Miner, said that access to the postings is easy for people looking for employment and employers seeking qualified applicants.

"We are happy to partner with Monster to help people find jobs," Machado said. "The partnership enables employers to fill positions with the best candidates."

The improvements are in response to reader comments and suggestions, Machado said.

People can visit www.kdminer.com, click on the Classified tab on the top of the page and click on the employment box for a listing of jobs in the area.

The page also allows people to do advanced searches by job type, title and distance from home. The page now immediately displays a list of local job opportunities and all employment listings from the print version in the Classifieds portion of your Miner.

Machado said job seekers will benefit from the helpful tools Monster.com has to offer, including resume building and interviewing tips.

The Miner is also offering Monster Match to customers. Access is available on the Classifieds home page by clicking the purple box, "No Resume? No Problem."

Job seekers can visit Monster Match either online or check out ads in the Miner to build your profile on the phone for free.

Employers can also receive resumes best suited for the job they're offering.

"We're proud to partner with Monster.com for online job seekers," said Miner Publisher Robin Mauser. "This will allow us to match our businesses with our job seekers to better serve the community."
