KINGMAN - Kingman Police arrested Kyle Thomas Huggins, 39, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to a disturbance at a business in the 3300 block of Stockton Hill Road where it was reported that a male subject walking through the parking lot had assaulted an employee who was sweeping outside. The suspect was identified as Huggins. Huggins was located inside a nearby store and taken into custody. Huggins was found to be possession of drug paraphernalia. Huggins was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Kingman Police arrested Jason Scott Turner, 22, of Kingman and the juvenile passenger in his vehicle for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia Thursday. Officers conducted a traffic stop around 1:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of East Andy Devine Avenue. When officers walked up to the vehicle, they could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Turner and the juvenile both admitted to having marijuana and were arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ignacio Edward Gomez, 33, of Golden Valley Thursday for arson, a felony, and three counts of domestic violence/assault and threatening, misdemeanors. Deputies responded to a call around 8:30 p.m. in the 6200 block of Kiger Lane and contacted the 54-year-old female victim. The victim reported that Gomez had come to the residence and started an altercation, kicking the victim in the leg. The victim told deputies that during the incident, Gomez went outside and retrieved lighter fluid. The victim reported that Gomez began pouring the lighter fluid inside the residence and on the victim, threatening to catch the residence on fire. Deputies contacted a 58-year-old male victim who reported that during the incident, Gomez grabbed him by the neck. After speaking with the victims, deputies left the residence attempting to make contact with Gomez. Around 9 a.m., deputies received another call that Gomez had returned to the residence. Deputies responded and Gomez was taken into custody without incident. During conversations with Gomez, he denied being involved in the incident. Gomez was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Humberto Carrasco, 60, of Kingman Thursday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct with a weapon, felonies, and threatening, a misdemeanor. Deputies responded to a call in the 2600 block of Packard Avenue and contacted the 51-year-old female victim. The victim told deputies that she was outside talking on the telephone. The victim reported that Carrasco was in his yard with a radio turned up and she couldn't hear. The victim said that when Carrasco was asked to turn the music down, he went inside the residence and came back out with a gun. The victim reported she could hear the hammer being pulled back on the weapon. Deputies contacted Carrasco outside the residence. As deputies followed Carrasco inside the residence for further conversations, deputies saw him pick up a handgun near the door of the residence. Carrasco was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Manuel Rodriguez Monteiro Jr., 34, of Kingman Thursday for aggravated harassment, a felony, and failure to comply with a court order, a misdemeanor. Deputies responded to a residence in the 3000 block of John L Avenue and contacted the 47-year-old female victim. The victim reported that she has a valid order of protection against Monteiro and that he continued to drive by the residence numerous times a day. The victim also reported that Monteiro had been stopping in front of the residence and revving the vehicle's engine. Monteiro was contacted in the 3600 block of Diagonal. While speaking with Monteiro he began yelling at deputies. Monteiro was taken into custody without incident. Monteiro was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
