Scholarships Given

Celesta Wassel, Community and Family Interest Clubs treasurer, and Carol Noli, CFIC president, hold a blank check for $5,000. Each year the various CFIC clubs, including the Morning Glories of Kingman, CFIC Council and Lynne Durrant, Mohave County Extension educator, donate toward the scholarship fund. This year five students will receive $1,000 each from the Community and Family Interest Clubs of Mohave County. The students who were chosen to receive a scholarship are Monique Brown and Britney Dollarhide, both of Bullhead City; Hadley Carlten and Fiona Verceles from Mohave Valley; and Maritzo Rodriguez from Fort Mohave High School.
