Hunter education class starts today

KINGMAN - The next Arizona Hunter Education class, required of junior hunters under age 14 before they can go into the field, starts at 6 p.m. today.

This weekend the classes are today, then 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

The class will meet again from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 8 and will finish up on Aug. 9 with class from 6:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Benefit concert for Allisons Saturday

KINGMAN - The Time Out Tavern, 2601 N. Stockton Hill Road, hosts a fundraising concert for the Allison family from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday.

Uncle Dirtnap and The 12 Inch Dandies will perform. Admission is $5.

Jennifer Allison was seriously wounded and her daughter Ariel was murdered in a July 4 attack in their Kingman home.
