GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ignacio Edward Gomez, 33, and Becky Anne Reid, 28, both of Golden Valley Friday evening. Gomez was arrested on a felony warrant for criminal damage and disorderly conduct issued by Kingman Justice Court with a $2,500 bond. Reid was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor probation violation warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court. At 5:30 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Milky Way Road, between Chino Drive and Highway 68, and contacted Gomez, the driver. A records check showed Gomez to have an outstanding warrant. Gomez was taken into custody. Deputies contacted the passenger identified as Reid and a records check showed Reid to also have an outstanding warrant. Reid was taken into custody. A search of Reid's' purse revealed two plastic bags containing a white residue and a silver tablespoon with white residue. Gomez and Reid were booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Heather Lea Norris, 31, of Kingman Friday evening on suspicion of felony aggravated DUI with a passenger under 15 years of age, aggravated DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 percent with passenger under 15 years of age and aggravated DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15 percent with passenger under 15 years of age. At 10:04 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Stockton Hill Road and contacted Norris, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Norris. During conversations with her, she admitted to having been drinking earlier. Deputies observed Norris' 11-year-old son in the front passenger seat. Following the field sobriety tests, Norris was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County Jail where an analysis revealed her blood alcohol concentration to be .160 percent. She was booked into the jail without incident. Norris' son was released to a family member. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Oney Willis Turman, 27, of Kingman Saturday morning on a felony warrant for robbery issued by Mohave County Superior Court. At 1:23 a.m., deputies contacted Turman while he was walking south on Melody Street near Butler Avenue. A records check showed Turman to have an outstanding warrant. Turman was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
LITTLEFIELD (ARIZONA STRIP) - Mohave County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Units were deployed Sunday evening for two subjects stranded on Elbow Canyon Road. Amber Lei, 33, reported that she and her boyfriend, Jerry Spearn, 45, both of Beaver Dam, become stranded after their truck slid off the road into the snow. The couple was sight-seeing when their vehicle left the roadway and slid into dangerous terrain. At 12:05 a.m. on Monday, SAR units located Lei and Spearn in cold, but good condition. The couple's truck was anchored to a tree by a rope to prevent the truck from sliding down the mountain about 100 feet. Lei and Spearn were transported to Littlefield.
