In Memory Of...
Dawn Moore, passed away at Kingman Regional Medical Center on Thursday, March 5, 2009, with her best friend, Richard Munoz, and her sister, Linda Ponnequin, by her side. She was 56 years old.
She is survived by her brothers, James Milby of Lexington, Ky., Robert, Allen and Paul Donals of Oregon; her sister, Linda Ponnequin of Golden Valley; and her two children, Tech Sergeant Robert James Azbill, USAF, currently stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and Burke Shane Azbill of Virginia. She had one grandson and many friends she adopted as family and they her. She was a kind-spirited person who will be forever remembered by all who she touched in her life.
Dawn was born in Hollywood, Calif., on Nov. 12, 1952. She was raised in Sylmar, Calif., where she rode and loved her horses. She was an accomplished equestrian. She spent the majority of her years in Ventura, Calif., where she enjoyed making jewelry, riding motorcycles and driving trucks. She loved the Chicken Lights. She did a wide variety of jobs from being a security guard and bouncer to running a thrift store. She was loved by many.
She moved to Golden Valley two years ago with her best friend of 26 years, Richard Munoz, to start a new life. She thrived here with family and new friends. She was looking forward to going of Europe to visit her son, Robert, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer, in Germany this fall and traveling to see The Cliffs of Mohrer in Ireland.
Her life was cut short at a very young age and she will be missed by many.
