DOLAN SPRINGS - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kenneth Elmer Clabaugh, 51, of Dolan Springs Thursday afternoon for felony failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. At 2:40 p.m., deputies contacted Clabaugh during a traffic stop on Pierce Ferry Road at milepost 10. A records check showed Clabaugh to have an outstanding warrant. He was taken into custody without incident. Investigations determined Clabaugh to be a registered sex offender and his identification card had expired in September of 2008. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Charles Arthur Moore, 55, of Golden Valley Thursday evening on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana. At 8:40 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Maverick Road and Destiny Way in reference to suspicious persons. Dispatch advised that subjects were on a property with flashlights. While en route, deputies were advised that the subjects left in two separate vehicles traveling north on Maverick toward Burro Drive. Deputies arrived in the area and observed the two vehicles traveling west on Burro. The lead vehicle was a truck pulling a Ford Mustang and the Mustang did not have any running lights. Deputies initiated a high-risk traffic stop on Burro at Magma Road. Deputies contacted the driver of the truck identified as Moore. Deputies questioned Moore about towing the vehicle and being on the property. Moore advised that he had purchased the Mustang and the former owner gave him permission to move the vehicle. Deputies contacted the former owner and confirmed that Moore was to be in possession of the vehicle. Deputies observed a transparent prescription pill bottle on the dashboard of the truck. Deputies retrieved the pill bottle, which contained marijuana. Moore said he had no idea the marijuana was inside his truck. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicles were towed from the scene.
KINGMAN - Kingman Police officers arrested Raymond Craig Mellage, 23 of Kingman on Monday on suspicion of felony driving on a suspended license, possession of marijuana, and a misdemeanor warrant. At 2:40 a.m., officers stopped Mellage for speeding in the 2200 block of Florence Avenue. Mellage advised the officers that he had used his brothers' name and date of birth so that he wouldn't be arrested. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Kingman Police officers arrested Mario Mendoza, 38, for two felony warrants from Texas on Monday. At 12:04 a.m., Mendoza was stopped in the 3300 block of Western Avenue for a traffic violation. After a warrants check was conducted, it was advised that Mendoza had two felony warrants from Texas and extradition was authorized. Mendoza was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Kingman Police officers arrested Lisa Ann Gregory, 44, of Kingman Sunday on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. At 11:30 a.m., officers were assisting the Kingman Fire Department in the 400 block of Beale Street at a local motel in reference to an unresponsive female. The female later identified as Gregory was in possession of the above items and was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
