Health Inspections: Friday, May 22, 2009

Healthcare Management: 3131 Western, Kingman; EXCELLENT; inspected May 13; no critical violation found in kitchen; air gap is needed for the indirect drain line of the ice machine; in dry storage room, broken shelf needs some repair; utility sink is missing from the cleaning chemical storage room.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites: 3031 E. Andy Devine Ave., Kingman; EXCELLENT; inspected May 14; no critical violation found; grouting is missing from tile wall cover by the utility sink.

Cerbat Elementary: 2689 Jagerson Ave., Kingman; inspected May 15; halls to be repainted this summer; when cleaning and sanitizing, pay special attention to door handles and drinking; toilet paper needed in one stall; strong odor of urine in bathroom (clean and sanitize more thoroughly).

Kingman Springhill Suites/Marriott: 3101 E. Andy Devine Ave., Kingman; follow-up inspection on May 15; unable to allow pool to open; chlorine was found between .2 and .4 ppm; with each follow-up inspection, there will be a fee assessed.

Best Western King's Inn: 2930 E. Andy Devine Ave., Kingman; inspected May 18; keep pool closed until chlorine level 7 ppm is at 1 to 3 ppm; spa at 2.8 ppm and pH 7 (keep chlorine level in spa between 3 to 5 ppm and pH between 7.2 and 7.8 pH.
