KRMC welcomes new physician's assistant
KINGMAN - Kingman Regional Medical Center recently added Kathryn Stanley, MSPA-C, to its medical staff. She will be working with Dr. Kevin Brown's office of family medicine in the Medical Professional Center of Kingman, 1739 Beverly Avenue, Suite 209.
Stanley completed her undergrad degree in Chemistry from Concord University in Athens, W.V. Before beginning her physician's assistant program at Mountain St University in Beckley, W.V., Stanley spent three years teaching chemistry in a West Virginia high school.
As a physician assistant, she has been trained to conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive healthcare and write prescriptions.
A physician assistant is a healthcare professional licensed to practice medicine with the supervision of a licensed physician. A physician assistant is concerned with preventing, maintaining and treating human illness and injury by providing a broad range of healthcare services traditionally performed by a physician.
Brown and Stanley's hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday by appointment only, (928) 757-1444.
