The Kingman Quilters Guild presented "Quilts of Valor" Saturday at the Mohave Museum of History and Arts. The Quilts of Valor Foundation is a national organization, which seeks to honor wounded American veterans by creating homemade, patriotic quilts and giving them to war wounded. The all-volunteer Kingman Quilters Guild has approximately 70 members and almost all of them made at least one Quilt of Valor this year. Saturday's ceremony featured a presentation of colors, prayer, speakers, and the presentation of quilts. The late Ann Cahoy started this program, which KQG hopes to make an annual event.
