KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Justin B. Eveland, 28, of Apache Junction Sept. 26 on a probation violation felony warrant issued by Maricopa County Superior Court. Deputies contacted Eveland at a residence in the 2300 block of Neal Avenue around 10 p.m. regarding an outstanding warrant. Eveland was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report at the Mohave County Jail on Friday regarding an assault on two detention officers by an inmate. Deputies spoke with the two victims who said that Chip Moray Smith, 38, of Florence Detention Center had assaulted them. The female detention officer said that she and another detention officer were escorting inmate Smith back to his cell around 9:30 p.m. when he turned around and struck her in the eye and repeatedly struck her in the face. The male detention officer said that he initially pushed Smith after he struck the female victim. The male was also hit by Smith. The female victim was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released. Smith was charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault on a detention officer.

KINGMAN - Kingman Police officers arrested Stephen Rex Tague, 53, Friday for a felony warrant out of Maricopa County, for a probation violation. Officers responded to a call in the 3300 block of Andy Devine Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Tague was contacted and it was later learned that he had a felony warrant. Tague was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - A 17-year-old Lake Havasu teen was killed in a rollover accident at milepost 46 on westbound Interstate 40 Saturday afternoon. Zachary Patrick Armond Bonfils was pronounced dead at the scene. He was riding in a 2004 Dodge pickup being driven by his mother. The pickup lost control after a blown-out tire and rolled over in the median. Three other children, ages 14, 9 and 5, were transported to a Las Vegas hospital for treatment.

KINGMAN - Kingman Police officers arrested Gerald Ralph Scaff, 57, of Kingman Saturday for possession of dangerous drugs, marijuana and a warrant. Officers responded to the 700 block of Railroad Avenue in reference to a disturbance call around 11:35 a.m. Officers contacted Scaff and he advised that he had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. He then allegedly advised that he had some marijuana in his pocket, and officers also located some dangerous drugs. Scaff was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Peter Sessoyeff, 36, of Kingman Saturday morning for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies contacted Sessoyeff inside a residence in the 3600 block of Northfield Avenue around 9:30 a.m. While deputies were speaking with Sessoyeff, they observed a glass pipe with a burnt tip sitting on top of a dresser near the front door. Inside the residence, deputies located a plastic bag containing approximately 5.9 grams of marijuana and numerous baggies containing a crystal residue. Sessoyeff was arrested without incident.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Charles Mungarro Jr., 42, of Kingman, Saturday afternoon on a felony warrant for unlawful use of means of transportation issued by Mohave County Superior Court on Aug. 21 with a $7,500 bond. Deputies responded to the Mohave County Jail located at 415 Pine Street shortly before 3 p.m. where they were informed that a subject named Mungarro was at the jail visiting an inmate and that he had an outstanding warrant. Mungarro was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Karen Sue Page, 42, of Golden Valley Saturday afternoon for felony theft of credit card. Deputies responded to a business in the 4000 block of Highway 68 around 2:30 p.m. in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, a store employee, who said that a dark haired woman attempted to buy beer with a credit card where the account holder is a male subject. The card came back lost or stolen. The reporting party advised that the woman left the store. Deputies proceeded outside and contacted the woman identified as Page. She said she grabbed the wrong credit card to make the purchase. She said that she was with her friend, the card holder, a few days ago and she couldn't find the card in her purse and she advised the card holder to report it as stolen. Page was arrested without incident.
