KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a man who was involved in a collision during the International Jet Sports Boat Association Personal Watercraft World Finals on Lake Havasu Friday afternoon. Deputies responded to the scene around 3 p.m. where the man was being attended to by medical personnel. He is identified as Vismara Cesare, 37, of Rome, Italy. Cesare received significant head trauma. He was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Because the accident occurred during a U.S. Coast Guard event, the investigation of the accident will be conducted by the Coast Guard. The death investigation remains active by MCSO and autopsy results are pending.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Mary Jane Gould, 25, of Kingman Friday for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and taking contraband into corrections facility, all felonies, along with outstanding warrants. Deputies contacted Gould during a traffic stop in the area of John L Avenue and Lomita around 6:25 a.m. A records check showed Gould to have a probation violation felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court and a contempt of court misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Gould was arrested without incident. Deputies located a plastic wrap containing marijuana behind the passenger seat on the floorboard. Gould was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. As Gould was being booked into the jail, she was found to be in possession of a small red plastic bag containing a crystal substance.
