Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Melissa Elizabeth Johnson, 25, of Kingman Tuesday for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, both felonies, and numerous warrants. Deputies conducted a traffic stop around 1:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Raymond Avenue and contacted Johnson, the driver. A records check showed Johnson to have a suspended driver's license and five misdemeanor warrants and a probation violation issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Johnson was arrested without incident. Deputies found Johnson to be in possession of marijuana located inside a plastic bag. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a single vehicle injury accident that occurred on Hualapai Mountain Road at milepost 5 around 9:30 a.m. Friday. Deputies responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover accident. The driver, identified as Darlene Sexauer, 64, of Kingman, was the only occupant in the vehicle. She was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center with possible broken ribs. Investigations determined the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
