Education: Alpha Chi Omega Scholarship
The purpose of the Alpha Chi Omega Scholarship for Community Involvement is to reward those members of Alpha Chi Omega, the Neal Campus Kingman chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for two-year colleges, for their support of and dedication to our community at large. Membership in Alpha Chi Omega requires that a student complete at least 12 credit hours at MCC with a minimum 3.5 GPA and a declared degree. Our new scholarship will reward these high honors students who are also highly motivated in community service and volunteering with non-need based funds to help support them through school. All community involvement, past and present, through any organization or done independently, will be considered. Participation in Alpha Chi Omega or Mohave Community College events is not required. It is thrilling to see our scholarship fund now open and ready to receive donations. We will need the community's support, however, to have it funded and ready to award by the fall semester. To make a donation to the Alpha Chi Omega Scholarship for Community Involvement, send check or money order to MCC Foundation, 1971 Jagerson Ave., Kingman, AZ 86409, and be sure to indicate that you would like your donation to go to the Alpha Chi Omega Scholarship for Community Involvement or simply Alpha Chi Omega. For more information, e-mail Alpha Chi Omega President and Scholarship Committee Chairperson NaShea M. Brown at mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org.
