Letter: Thanks to the generous support
On March 27, Kingman High School Student Council hosted their 1st Annual Bulldog Jog 5k Walk/Run and Doggie Dash Half-Mile race. Thanks to the generous support, it was a huge success! The proceeds raised totaled $2,000! Half of that went toward benefiting the Western Arizona Humane Society and the other to the Kingman High School Student Council.
First, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to our primary sponsor, Mohave Wireless. We would also like to thank our additional sponsors including KRMC and the Del E. Also, we thank the Kingman Police Department for keeping racers safe and directing traffic and the Mohave County Sheriff's Department, K-9 Unit for doing a fabulous demonstration and volunteering their time. Thank you to Jenny Harpest and the Athletic Training Club, Joanne Olsen and the Graphic and Design Club, Carol Gunnerson and Health Occupation Students of America, Girlie Foreman and Hispanic Student Union, KHS Guide Dawgs, and Rebecca Metheney and the KHS cheer squad for volunteering!
