Ronnie Dalton, Larry Newberry and John Cox were part of the "Micros on Route 66" tour traveling from Santa Monica, Calif., to Chicago. People from all over the country and two micro car owners from Germany (who shipped their cars here) traveled to be part of the tour, which ends with the participants attending the World Micro Car Meet. The tour will take about 12 days, with two days of rest. One of the places chosen for a day of rest was Kingman. Newberry, the organizer of the tour, chose Kingman because he was familiar with it from years past and he "knew the town- it's a neat place to visit." He said the Martin Swanty dealership contacted him after learning the tour was coming through Kingman and offered a stop for lunch and a place for owners to perform repairs on their vehicles.
