Thanks: Martin Swanty Chrysler Dodge Jeep

On behalf of the city of Kingman Parks and Recreation Department, I want to formally thank Martin Swanty Chrysler Dodge Jeep for its generous sponsorship donation to the summer Movies in the Park, along with UniSource Energy Services for the Float-In Movie at Centennial Pool.

Martin Swanty's outdoor movie was held on June 26 with over 1,000 attendees. The Float in Movie was such a success thanks to UniSource for its generous sponsorship of the movie screen for the event held on Aug. 14.

The July 23 movie was unfortunately canceled due to rain, but is being rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11. All are welcome to attend "Patriots Day" at Centennial Park and watch an outdoor movie on a huge inflatable screen. The featured movie, "Monsters vs. Aliens," will begin at dark and is once again being sponsored by Martin Swanty Chrysler Dodge Jeep.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early and bring a picnic dinner or purchase items from our snack bar. Some entertainment, contests, and raffles will be part of the pre-movie event that begins at 6 p.m. at Centennial Park. Wear your red, white, and blue and be part of the action and show your support to Martin Swanty for sponsoring our final Movie in the Park.

Without the continued support from organizations such as these, community events may not be possible. Once again on behalf of the Parks and Recreation Department and the community, I thank you!
