Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested six juveniles late Friday. Deputies observed a parked vehicle with its hazard lights on in front of a residence in the 2700 block of Devlin Avenue around 11:30 p.m. As deputies approached, they saw numerous juveniles in the yard who then ran into the residence once they saw the deputy. Deputies exited their patrol vehicle and made contact with residents inside the house. Deputies reportedly found a number of underage drinkers inside the residence, hiding outside in bushes and under a parked vehicle. Their ages ranged from 16 to 18. One 16-year-old girl falsely identified herself. She was later found to have two felony warrants issued by Mohave County Superior Court for probation violation and a failure to appear. She was arrested for escape, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, along with minor consumption and false report to law enforcement, misdemeanors. The remaining juveniles were cited and released for minor consumption.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Clark Mason, 48, of Golden Valley Saturday for felony burglary and misdemeanor trespassing, along with an outstanding warrant. Deputies responded to a burglary in progress in the 4600 block of Redwall Road around 4:57 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the 61-year-old male victim, who said he was awoken by a noise outside. He observed a male subject trying to take a spare tire from the bed of his truck. The male suspect took off walking westbound. Deputies located the male subject, identified as Mason, at a residence in the 3900 block of Abrigo Drive. A records check showed Mason to have a felony warrant on a probation violation issued by Mohave County Superior Court. He was arrested without incident and transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Bruce Laine Sevier, 54, of Kingman Saturday on five felony counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor driving with a suspended license and an outstanding warrant. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4400 block of Bank Street around 7:26 p.m. and contacted Sevier, the driver. A records check showed Sevier to have a felony warrant for a drug paraphernalia violation issued by Kingman Justice Court and a suspended driver's license. Sevier was arrested without incident. A search of his vehicle reportedly revealed three glass pipes with residue, a scale with residue and a spoon with residue. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian just after 12:30 a.m. Monday. Deputies responded to the area of East Butler Avenue and North Melody Street in reference to a female subject who was walking when she was hit by a vehicle. The 45-year-old male driver was traveling southbound on Melody in his vehicle and attempted to swerve and miss the female subject as she walked in the middle of the road, but the vehicle struck her with the corner bumper. The female subject was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center with a possible broken hip and pelvis. This accident remains under investigation.
