Three people were sent to the hospital with minor injuries after a three-car accident Friday morning. Police say 89-year-old Joy Elizabeth McDonald was southbound on Stockton Hill Road when she ran a red light at Club Avenue, striking a sedan driven by a 31-year-old woman and then a truck driven by a 57-year-old man. McDonald, as well as the 31-year-old woman and an 8-year-old passenger, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. McDonald was cited for failure to stop at a stop light.
