KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a single-vehicle injury accident late Thursday on the railroad frontage road between the tracks and Highway 66, across from the mini-market located on Thompson Avenue. According to the Sheriff's Office, a male driver of an ATV was thrown from his vehicle when his quad hit a mud puddle and flipped. The driver, Tommy Loader of Kingman, was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries. Speed is believed to be a factor in the investigation.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kathaleen Renee Buck, 34, of Kingman Friday for felony possession of dangerous drugs and disorderly conduct per domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Deputies responded to the 3500 block of Devlin Avenue around 12:50 a.m. in reference to a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Buck was arrested for disorderly conduct, which involved a 17-year-old female victim. Buck was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. During transport, deputies observed Buck moving around in the backseat of the patrol unit. After Buck was booked into the jail, deputies observed a white crystal substance spread all over the floorboard and backseat where Buck had been seated. Deputies also observed a piece of clear plastic bag. The crystal substance was collected and field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Deputies re-contacted Buck and charged her with possession of dangerous drugs.
