KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Stephen Lee Martin, 50, of Bullhead City Friday, June 4, on a felony fugitive from justice warrant issued out of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and a felony failure to appear warrant issued by Bullhead City Municipal Court, along with driving with a suspended license, false reporting to law enforcement and a failure to pay fines warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court, misdemeanors. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Teddy Roosevelt at Highway 68 around 2:30 p.m. and contacted the driver, who they said falsely identified himself. Eventually, the driver was identified as Martin. A records check showed Martin to have a suspended license and numerous outstanding warrants. He was arrested without incident. During conversations with Martin, he said that he lied because of his warrants. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
