I-40 WEST OF KINGMAN
UniSource Energy Services will be conducting utility work from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 29 on Interstate 40 between Alamo Road (Exit 25) and Proving Ground Road (Exit 26), near Yucca. Motorists traveling this stretch of I-40 will be detoured using the Alamo Road and Proving Ground Road Traffic Interchanges to adjacent frontage roads for both east and westbound traffic. A 9-foot width restriction will be in place for wide loads.
In an effort to maintain a safe work zone for both motorists and crew members, the speed limit will be reduced and strictly enforced during the scheduled detour. Information about highway closures and restrictions across Arizona is available on ADOT's Travel Information site www.az511.gov or by calling 511.
