Obituary: Richard Perry Humphrey
Richard Perry Humphrey, 82, of Kingman died Monday, March 22, 2010, at his home in Kingman. He was born May 25, 1927, in Knox City, Texas, and came to Kingman 24 years ago from Tonopah, Ariz.
Richard was a Technician 4 in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a self-employed cattle rancher.
Richard is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shirley A. Humphrey; daughters, Cynthia Grantham of Forrest Ranch, Calif., and JoAnn Lake of Portola, Calif.; stepdaughter, Mary Mason of Glendale, Ariz.; son, J.D. Humphrey of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and sisters, Edith Lawrence and Madeline NeDeau, both of Meridian, Idaho; Charlene Sherrill of Pineville, Ore., and Christine Garagoulchain of Maple Valley, Wash.
He is also survived by four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling cremation arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to KRMC Hospice of Kingman.
