The Venture Club of Kingman held its 2nd Annual Charity Night Golf Tournament to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Kingman April 24 at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course. Last year the event raised $5,000. Several local businesses sponsored the event, providing golf and raffle items. Seventy-two participants signed up this year. Half of the golf tournament was to be played during the daytime and half at night with glow-in-the-dark balls. The Venture Club is a branch of Soroptimist International, which focuses on helping women and children. Here, Jack Pozenel keeps an eye on the ball as he chips on the 15th hole during the daylight half of the tournament.
