KINGMAN - Kingman Police arrested Christopher Lee Vroegh, 27, of Kingman Sunday at 1:10 am on a felony charge of possession of marijuana. Vroegh was the driver of a car stopped for a traffic violation. His license was found to be suspended. He was arrested and found to be in possession of marijuana. He was booked into Mohave County Jail and his vehicle was impounded.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested David James Ralph, 27, and Tiffany Chanelle Sutton, 19, both of Kingman late Friday evening. Ralph was arrested for prohibited possession of a weapon, misconduct involving weapons, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, all felonies. Sutton was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both felonies, and a misdemeanor minor consumption of alcohol charge. At 11:13 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Mohave Airport Drive at Industrial and contacted Ralph, the driver. A records check showed him to have a suspended driver's license. He was taken into custody without incident. A search allegedly revealed a black suede bag in his front left pocket and a white plastic container in his front right pocket. The suede bag contained a syringe, a digital scale, numerous plastic bags, a straw with residue and two cotton swabs, while the plastic container contained a syringe, a clear glass pipe with burnt residue, a metal pipe with burnt residue, tweezers, cigarette rolling papers and a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Sutton. She was taken into custody without incident. A search of her purse allegedly revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana, a pipe with burnt residue and a metal marijuana grinder with residue. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded gun under the driver's seat. A computer check showed Ralph to be a prohibited possessor of firearms. Ralph and Sutton were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. During the booking process, Sutton was allegedly found to be in possession of two plastic bags of marijuana. Sutton was also charged with promoting prison contraband, a felony. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
