Buelaha Batman of Kingman celebrated her 90th birthday on May 12. She was born Buelaha Irene Bell on May 12, 1920, in Buffalo, Iowa. The family moved to Arkansas when she was around 12. She made her home in Arkansas for 50 years. One of her best friends from her high school days lived about two miles from her daughter in Mesa, Ariz. In 1992, she moved to Mesa to live close to her daughter, Betty Wilson, and approximately five years ago, she moved in with her daughter when Betty moved to Kingman to be close to her daughter, Cindy Woolard, Buelaha's granddaughter. Buelaha has one daughter, two grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter. She is the oldest of a five-generation family.
