Obituary: Mary May
Mary May, 90, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at her residence near Macon, Miss. She was born Aug. 5, 1919, in Buffalo, N.Y., to the late Josephine Puccia LoCascio and Fredrick LoCascio.
She married Henry May on Jan. 20, 1946. In June 1951, they moved to Southern California, settling in Ontario. She was a housewife and homemaker. She remained in California until 2003, when she moved to Macon to live with her granddaughter. She enjoyed this time of being near many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 1981. She is survived by one daughter, Anita Wait of Kingman; one stepdaughter, Kathleen May of Kingman; four granddaughters; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation and services were at South Haven Mennonite Church near Macon on Saturday, May 22. Burial was at South Haven Mennonite Cemetery. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is handling arrangements.
