Mohave 911: Friday May 29,2010

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report at the Mohave County Jail on Thursday, May 27, regarding an assault on two detention officers by an inmate. Deputies spoke with both victims who reported that Ramey Ramiro Villanueva, 24, of Lake Havasu City assaulted them. A detention officer reported that he was in A-Pod looking over inmates that were doing night clean-up when Villanueva rushed at him and they began to fight. Another detention officer in the area responded. Villanueva was eventually detained after pepper spay and a taser were used to place him into constraints. Deputies contacted Villanueva and charged him with two counts of aggravated assault on detention officer, felonies.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James William Curran, 32, Las Vegas Thursday, May 27, on two felony counts of taking the identity of another. During an on-going investigation, deputies learned that Curran identified himself as his brother to law enforcement in two separate incidents in May. Deputies contacted inmate Curran at the Mohave County Jail where he the above two charges were filed.
