Work on Havasu interchange continues
LAKE HAVASU CITY
The Arizona Department of Transportation continues bridge improvement work at the Interstate 40 Lake Havasu traffic interchange (Exit 9). The bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 10) to 6 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 11) as workers remove temporary concrete barriers and install pavement markings.
Motorists traveling south to Lake Havasu City on State Route 95 from westbound I-40 will be detoured seven miles to the Needle Mountain Traffic Interchange (Exit 2). Drivers traveling northbound on State Route 95 to westbound I-40 will be detoured four miles to the Franconia Road Traffic Interchange (Exit 13).
