Mohave County Sheriff's Sex Offender Registration Officer arrested Patrick Amel Stehl, 31, of Golden Valley Nov. 12 for felony failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. The Sex Offender Registration Officer contacted Stehl at the Mohave County Sheriff's Office that morning after investigations determined that Stehl was not compliant with the requirement to maintain accurate address information. He was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Gary Steel Hardin, 53, of Kingman Nov. 12 for felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies responded to the Kingman Regional Medical Center around 10:45 p.m. regarding an assault with a knife. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the 35-year-old male victim, who said that he and several friends were at a residence at the corner of Potter Avenue and Ty Street where Hardin stabbed him with a knife. The man had wounds to his hand and neck. Deputies attempted to contact Hardin at a residence where the incident occurred in the 1300 block of E. Potter Avenue without success. A short time later, deputies observed a vehicle matching a description of his vehicle traveling in the area of Potter Avenue and Sierra Road. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and spoke with Hardin, who said that he grabbed a knife and put it to the victim's throat after the man punched him in the face. Hardin was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
