In Memory Of: Robert Dale Temps
On the night of Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, our dear friend and brother, one honorable man, Robert "Bob" Dale Temps, age 67, went to sleep at his home, and at 8 p.m. shipped out to be with our loving Lord. Bob was born Oct. 28, 1943.
He is at peace, again able to do all the things that his disabilities prevented him from doing. He is a proud American and always will be. He has served like many of our fallen have, to keep us all free from tyranny and suppression from the powers that would condemn us all to poverty and slavery. Our family and friends will celebrate his life and all that he has done for us.
Bob was a very proud man and gave of himself to the fullest, with all those he came in contact with, especially his loved ones. Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Conservator as a Bell Helmet Diver, prior to becoming a double amputee. Bob was a dedicated worker, one who will always be missed. Bob will always be missed and will always be remembered as a blessing to all of us who knew him.
The following family members preceded Bob in death: his father, Oscar W. Temps; mother, Irene Matilda Temps; and loving son, Timothy Temps. Surviving family are: girl friend/fiancée and caregiver, Mary Davis; former wives, Janeth Temps and Ann Marie Temps; daughters, Denise Nowlion, mother of Trevor Wise, and Ashley Marie Temps; Bob's siblings: brothers, Dave, Elmar and Gary Lee Welches; and sister, Bev Welches; cousins, Ben and Richard Brock; and grandchild, Trevor Wise.
Please note, per Bob's request, there will not be any services. Thank you all for your loving support.
In loving memory, we all shall see you again on the other side. I'm just one of your armed service brothers and close friend, Patrick Masters. May you rest in peace. In God We Trust...
