KINGMAN - The 7th Annual Code 3 - Clothe The Kids Charity Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Kingman Powerhouse Kiwanis, was held on Aug. 14 at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course.

Twenty teams participated with 40 tee box sponsors. Thanks to the generous donations of numerous businesses and individuals, more than $24,000 has been raised for the program.

All proceeds will benefit children who, with the assistance of local volunteers, are taken shopping during the holiday season on Dec. 11. Last year, more than 750 children were taken shopping at Walmart and Kmart due to the generous donations from the community.

The sponsors of the event included Kingman Regional Medical Center, Walmart Supercenter, Erin P. Collins & Associates, Jim Baker Chevron, Waste Management, UniSource Energy, Monica J. Busch Investments, Lions Club and the Powerhouse Kiwanis.
