Kingman Academy of Learning Middle School Student Council members, and members of Kingman Elks Lodge No. 468 dedicated a Heritage Wall in the school's library as part of a Patriot Week activity. The wall is a national project of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Pictured are (top row, left to right) Roger Christensen, Robert Taylor, Cotton Bradley, William Partridge, Kyle Julle, Brad Moya and James Gaily; (bottom row, left to right) Reanna Christensen, Tyler Julle, Seth Cole, Robby Glass, Sara Proudfoot and Kassidy Kirby, Elks donate reproductions of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Gettysburg Address and picture frames. The students assemble the documents and place them as a permanent display in a selected spot in the school. Teachers will move the items into their classroom as visual aids when their students study the Continental Congress's work in 1776. The Kingman lodge also donated an American Flag to be used as a permanent fixture in the school's lobby.
