Kingman Robotics Team makes finals, live broadcasts scheduled

KINGMAN

Kingman FIRST Robotics Team 60 hopes to follow up its Las Vegas Regional Championship with a World Championship as it heads off to St. Louis Tuesday for the final FIRST Robotics Competition of 2011. There are 352 teams scheduled to compete in the championships April 27-30. Team 60 will be competing in the Curie Division with 87 other robotics teams from the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Israel.

Qualifying matches will be broadcast by NASA TV at http://science.ksc.nasa.gov/robotics on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 6:15 to 8:30 a.m. Winners of each division will compete for the World Championship Saturday afternoon. The field name for Team 60's division is Curie.
