Mohave County road crews will be making their usual rounds this week. Blade trucks will be working regular routes in Meadview, Dolan Springs and Golden Valley and repairing potholes as needed.
Workers will also be patching potholes on Temple Bar, White Hills, Chloride and Mineral Park roads.
In the Butler area of Kingman, workers will be sweeping, repairing shoulders and patching potholes.
In Valle Vista maintenance crews will be mowing weeds and working on shoulders.
Sobriety safety checkpoints will be set up within Grand Canyon National Park this holiday season.
"Last year, over 100,000 visitors spent at least part of their holidays in Grand Canyon National Park," said Grand Canyon Chief Ranger Bill Wright.
Checkpoint dates and locations will be randomly selected and will not be announced in advance.
