Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Gordon Donald Meador, 33, of Kingman Feb. 2 on a probation violation felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court along with four misdemeanor warrants - three failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Municipal Court and a contempt of court issued by Kingman Justice Court. Deputies observed a male subject walking in the 3600 block of Swan Drive around 5 p.m. The man reportedly covered his face after he saw the deputy's patrol unit. As deputies approached the male subject, he allegedly started running. Deputies followed the male subject into a fenced yard and finally into an open garage in the 3600 block of Dove Lane, where he was taken into custody. The male subject was identified as Meador. A records check showed Meador to have outstanding warrants.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lee Eugene Houston III, 26, of Kingman Thursday afternoon for unlawful means of transportation, felony. At about 1:37 p.m., deputies contacted a 36-year-old female victim at the Mohave County Sheriff's Office. The victim had reported to the Sheriff's Office that morning that her vehicle was stolen from her garage. The victim said that dispatch advised her that her vehicle was impounded after Houston was arrested early Thursday morning for driving with a suspended driver's license. The victim further said that Houston is a relative and she did not give him permission to use her vehicle. Deputies contacted inmate Houston at the Mohave County Jail. During conversations with Houston, he admitted to taking the vehicle without permission. Houston said he was not stealing the vehicle, just taking it without permission.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Thomas James Faumuina, 40, of Kingman Thursday for felony possession of marijuana, misdemeanor driving with a suspended license, and two active warrants. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Stockton Hill Road at milepost 8 around 6:15 p.m. and contacted Faumuina, the driver. A record checks showed Faumuina to have a suspended driver's license, a probation violation felony warrant and a failure to pay fines misdemeanor warrant. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana located in the center console. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Adam Lane Ingram, 48, of Kingman Friday for felony aggravated assault. Deputies responded to the Kingman Regional Medical Center around 1:10 a.m. regarding an assault report. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the 34-year-old male victim, who said that he was drinking with friends when he was assaulted. Deputies observed the victim's eyes to be swollen shut and dried blood on his face. Investigations led deputies to a residence in the 3000 block of East Butler Avenue and contacted Ingram, who had dried blood on his right hand. Ingram said there was a fight at the residence. He was arrested without incident.
