KINGMAN - A 35-year-old man was arrested earlier this week on charges that he assaulted two girls during a sleepover hosted by his daughter at their apartment.

Kingman Police detectives arrested Cory Lamon Crump Sunday on felony charges of sexual conduct with a minor, sexual abuse and contributing to delinquency of minor.

Capt. Rusty Cooper said detectives were called out to investigate allegations made by two 16-year-old girls. The girls are friends of Crump's daughter and were sleeping over at their apartment in the 3100 block of Harrison Street.

Cooper says one of the girls said she awoke during the night and found Crump attempting a sexual act with her. Another girl alleged that Crump touched her chest.

One of the girls called a third party and told them what happened. They, in turn, called police.

Crump is also alleged to have provided alcohol to the girls. He was arrested at the apartment the morning after the sleepover.

Cooper said Crump admitted involvement in the offense. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
