Letter: Let's quit blaming and pull together
Who should we blame? You could blame me, although I deleted most of the e-mails I've received from my Republican and Democrat friends when they try to tear down the other party. I did forward some and I did have a sign on my car: "Fight organized crime, vote them all out."
Some have tried to blame the talk shows, and they of course blame each other. There are the ones who blame the politicians, but they have learned that if you tell the most lies about your opponent you will win the election. We all like to believe the worst of someone. Maybe we should be listening to what they are going to do to make things better.
Some are blaming the law enforcement for not being there, but they were never called. There is always a chance of trouble, so maybe they should have had someone there. I hope I haven't left anyone out, because we are all responsible for what happened because we did something or we sat there and did nothing. I fear it will get worse if we (all of us) don't start pulling together.
The only place a knocker belongs is on a door.
