The Patriot Guard Riders offered a strong show of support Sunday morning to the family of Marine Jordan Maynard, who was severely wounded in Afghanistan last week. A large group of Patriot Guard Riders on motorcycles and other supporters came to the family's home in Kingman where they presented Maynard's wife, Jennifer, with a donation to help the family with expenses. The family was grateful for the help. PGR's David Bone and Michael Pearson put the ride together on short notice. Sanderson Painting offered to donate material and labor for future remodeling at Maynard's home. It was hoped that Jordan would be heading to the United States Sunday, but medical complications required that he remain at military medical facilities in Germany for the time being. Above, a Patriot Guard Rider talks to the father of Jordan Maynard, Kevin (center, on left), as other supporters hug or talk to other family members all around them.
