In Memory of: Vicki Maxwell

Vicki Maxwell was born Sept. 18, 1954, in Roswell, N.M. Jesus took her into his hands on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in Kingman. Vicki passed away from cancer.

She was the daughter of Jerald and Charlene Steed. She lived in Kingman off and on for 37 years. She came from Missouri. She went to Black Mountain Community College in Phoenix for nursing. She worked for Dr. Jason Allen and Dr. Sadden. She loved and respected all the doctors and her co-workers.

Vicki is survived by her husband, James Maxwell; her sons and their wives, Marvin and Jessie, Justin and Liz, and Darin and Sabrina Paup; her daughter, Jackie; her mother, Charlene Steed; sisters, Deborah Walters and Susan Rau; her brothers, Jerald, Robert and Charles Steed; also her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Butch Steed; her cousin, Orba; and aunts, Pat and Rill. She had 15 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

When Vicki passed on, she was welcomed with open arms by Jesus; her twin sister, Vivian; her father, Jerald Steed; and her aunt, Betty Ross. She will be greatly missed and loved but never forgotten. She always knew how to make you smile and laugh. This isn't goodbye; it's a see you later as we will all meet with her again.

She's being cremated and her services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at First Assembly of God Church. Flowers and donations can be sent to: Kingman First Assembly of God, 1850 Gates Ave., Kingman, AZ 86401-8003.
