Kingman Letters of Thanks: To all who assisted with KHS prom
I want to thank my family and dear friends who donated $930 for prom tickets. This amount allowed for 62 financially disadvantaged students to attend prom. I know I can always count on you in helping our students!
Special thanks to the Kingman Venture Club for donating $570 for prom tickets (which allowed for 38 students to attend prom), collecting prom dresses, paying for prom meals, helping to organize the prom fair and assisting the male and female students who attended prom fair with selecting their outfits. Without you ladies and members of Soroptomist, the prom fair would not have been as successful. To the Venture Club members who provided free hairdos for the girls ... you made them look and feel so beautiful! Many, many thanks to each of you!
We also want to thank Krystal Burge, who contributed to prom meals and allowed the use of the Dambar. You are and have always been so giving to our students!
The following vendors need to be thanked: Heaven Scent Florist and Party Perfect. The discounts you made available to the students helped make their prom a reality.
A very special thank you to Margaret Foote, who went out of her way to collect approximately 200 prom dresses. You are amazing!
After the ad was placed in the Miner, I received several calls from various individuals who donated prom dresses, dress shirts, ties, suits, shoes, and purses for prom. There are so many of you to name but please know that we appreciate your generosity. Thank you!
I was fortunate to attend prom and see many of the students who had attended the prom fair. They all looked so pretty and handsome and just so appreciative of being able to attend their special night.
If I forgot anyone, it wasn't intentional. Again, thanks to all who made the prom fair and prom a huge success. Thanks for caring about our students and their happiness.
