Webb the lone Bulldog at state swim meet

KINGMAN - Patrick Webb will be the only Kingman High swimmer at this weekends Division I state swim meet in Mesa.

Webb qualified in the 500-meter freestyle back in September.

As a team, KHS closed out the season last weekend at the Northwest Regional meet in Phoenix where the boys 200-meter freestyle relay team took second, but missed the 24 team state meet by only a few seconds.

"I couldn't be more happy with how the team did at this meet," KHS coach Callie Peat said. "They were very focused on doing their best and they really pulled together as a team to help motivate each other."

Hunter Workman and Webb helped lead the boys team with a pair of second place finishes. Workman finished second in both the 50 freestyle (23.70) and 100 butterfly (59.39). Webb also placed second in both the 200 freestyle (1:53.29) and 500 freestyle (5:08.66).
