KINGMAN - Applications are now being accepted for the 41st Annual Andy Devine Days Parade, which is scheduled for Sept. 24. Entry deadline is Sept. 12.

Each year entries in this parade celebrate Kingman's western heritage and its roots in the railroad, Route 66 and ranching. Applications are now available at the Recreation Office, 3333 N. Harrison, or by calling 757-7919. Entry forms can be accessed at www.cityofkingman.gov. by going to Parks and Recreation Department under the Special Events section. There is no application fee.

Entries consist of antique and restored vehicles, businesses, service groups and organizations, equestrian groups & riders, music groups, and much more. Participants are strongly encouraged to design and build float entries around the current year's theme, Arizona's Centennial - 100 Years of Statehood."

Participation plaques will be available to all parade entries for $25, payable at the time of application.
