Letters of Thanks: Monday, September 19, 2011
There are no words to express our appreciation to everyone in our community, the church family at Cross of Christ church, the United States Post Office employees, friends and acquaintances for your many acts of kindness and support you showed our family and mother, Darlene Brase, during and after the passing of our father, Robert Brase.
Dad was an outstanding individual who loved his family, his Lord, and his church. His joy in life was his nine children and doing his utmost for his church. He was a union arbitrator for the United States Postal Service for many years, which was another one of his passions in life.
Thank you again for your appreciation of our father, husband and best friend. Although he will be missed desperately and not be with us physically, his presence will always be with us in our thoughts and hearts.
We all have this hope, that we will be with him again one of these days! This is the strength and foundation of our Christian upbringing that our father taught us all growing up and without it we have nothing.
The Family of Robert H. Brase
I am Madelyn Ferrell, manager of Scotty's Broasted Chicken and Ribs at 4120 Stockton Hill Road. On Sept. 13, we celebrated the anniversary of our first year in Kingman (already!).
On behalf of the owners, Tom and Scott Brennan, and my entire staff, we would like to thank the city and residents of Kingman for their love and support. Over the year our guests have become our family. We have become a success and owe it all to you.
I would also like to thank my staff. Except for our new hire, Pam, all of my staff are Day-1 employees. Thanks to my kitchen managers, Jeremy (over 12 years with Scotty's) and Chris; my cooks, Nick, Tim, Jacob and Frank (over 5 years with Scotty's); thanks to my assistant manager, Jodee; and my amazing servers, Tracy and Jeanne; and above all, thanks to Tom and Scott Brennan for bringing Scotty's to Kingman.
The Kingman TOPS AZ0533 would like to thank the community for participating in our recent fundraiser. The parking lot sale raised over $210, which supports and funds many events for the programs of TOPS. Congratulations to Samantha Ogborn for winning the necklace.
The Kingman TOPS AZ0533 meets every Wednesday at 9 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church/Angel House (corner of Golden Gate and Los Angeles).
I would like to recognize and compliment the Kingman Concert Band for its exemplary and inspiring patriotic concert at Metcalfe Park on Sept. 11. This was done under the able direction of Ms. Julie Gragg, who is a fine musician and music teacher at the Kingman Middle School.
These fine musicians are dedicated volunteers who perform for the love of it. We are fortunate to have them in our community.

The family and friends of Tylor Krabbe (who died July 7, 2011, in a car accident on Katherine Spur Road), would like to thank the Kingman Daily Miner for printing the results of the autopsy report (Sept. 9, 2011) that concluded that no alcohol was found in his system at the time of the accident. The National Parks Service initially told the Kingman Daily Miner there was (July 10, 2011).
Thank you. In Loving Memory of our Tylor L. Krabbe.

Kingman Mohave County Sheriff's Search and Rescue is a non-profit organization that receives no government funding to buy needed equipment.
On behalf of the Kingman Unit, I'd like to thank the community for their support at our recent rummage sale, held Sept. 10.
The sale was a success - we couldn't have done it without you.
