Obituary: Rick Alan Pulver
Rick Pulver, beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away from this life on Friday, April 6, 2012, at his home in Kingman, surrounded by loving family and friends after a short but valiant fight against cancer. Rick was born May 3, 1951, at the U.S. Naval hospital in Oakland, Calif.
He graduated high school in Sioux Falls, S.D. and continued his education in Arizona where he received a certificate and served as a court reporter for more than 20 years. Upon retirement, he was a Realtor for several years before becoming successfully self-employed.
Rick is survived by his wife Albe; her sons, Kenneth and Kim; his son, Derik; daughters, Tamara, Kristen, and Shalene; four grandchildren; his father, William Pulver and his wife Eldene; brothers, Randy and Brett; sisters, Darla, Danette and Melissa; and two half-sisters, Lohree and Wendy; and numerous close and dedicated friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother JoAnn (Ruth) Parsons.
Rick will be remembered for his outgoing personality, love of life, family and friends, and for his unwavering belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Viewing, open to family and friends, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at Desert View Funeral Chapel, 2215 East Northern Ave. in Kingman. The memorial service for Rick will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, conducted by Pastor Reggie Rice of Journey Church at Abundant Life Family Worship Center, 1212 North Stockton Hill Road.
