Kingman Letters: Thank you to all who showed support during family's difficult time
The Bathauer family would like to take a moment to thank the entire community of Kingman and other areas across the country for their support during John's battle with Melanoma cancer. Words cannot express how this helped John to fight this difficult battle.
We would especially like to thank Cascades Tissue Inc. for their continued support of our family and to the community, which John appreciated. Also, to the Kingman Fire Fighters Association for putting on a golf tournament that allowed my husband to see just how much he was loved. The outpouring of support and love can never be recreated.
We would also like to thank Frozen Yogurt Island, Kingman Academy Middle School, Kristin's, and Cut and Curl, Fernando Galvan, Kingman High School Student Council, and The Guide Dawgs for their fundraising efforts for our family.
We also need to thank the Kingman Unified School District for the use of Lee Williams High School and for all the support shown to every member of my family, whether it was a dinner or a card.
Finally, we cannot forget to thank Cheryl Webb for being there for our family no matter the time of day. To all of John's friends and co-workers who stopped by to visit John, who truly loved seeing you and looked forward to the visits, and to everyone who has sent a gift, card or just support to our family, thank you.
John dearly loved this community and the people who lived in it. He defended Kingman and was proud to be a member of the community. He would want us to remember to live each day, "one day at a time." Once again, thank you.
