Extension offers workshop on landscaping
The University of Arizona Mohave County Cooperative Extension is offering a workshop for the professional landscapers and people interested in landscapes on Aug. 29 at the Riverside Resort in Laughlin.
Registration is required and the cost is $12 per person. The fee includes lunch and breaks.
The topics on the program are:
Economic Value of Landscaping and Landscapes in our Communities;
Using Reclaimed Water in Landscapes, Problems and Solutions;
New IPM Tools for Turf Pest Problems in the Southwest;
Key Landscape Disease Issues along the Colorado River;
Surfactants, Leaf Surfaces and Herbicide Activity;
Getting to the Root of Tree Problems;
Scouting your Landscape for Pest Management and Planning;
Working Safely Around Power Lines and Landscapes.
