Reader Letter: Thanks from the Valle Vista July 4th Committee
The Valle Vista July 4th Committee sends our overdue but amazing thanks to all of our Valle Vista residents, Kingmanites and local businesses for making our July 4th "Blast" one of our best ever.
The committee needs to thank so many beginning with Findlay Motor Company of Bullhead City for our hole-in-one truck prize (that unfortunately no one won,) and other hole-in-one prizes for our golf tournament. We also would like to heap thanks on our local businesses and individuals that were hole sponsors, including Waste Management, Valle Vista Community Church, Preston Investments, Above All Mohave County Realty, Kingman Regional Medical Center, Grave's Propane, H & H Printers, Passmore Gas, Edward Jones Investments, Patrick and Kelly Moore, Jim and Ann McCarthy, Valle Vista NFL Group, Valle Vista Guys and Dolls Golf Group, Valle Vista Men's Golf Club, Carole McIntosh, Ann Sosnoski, and Glenn and Vickie Hoag.
Also to thank is a long list of local businesses that help support us year after year with donations for our raffles. They are Findlay Nolte Honda, Papa Murphy's Pizza, Sirens Café, Calico's Restaurant, Cliff Findlay Auto, Cerbat Lanes, Walgreen's at Airway, Lomelli's Garden Art, Martin Swanty Hyundai, Boyd's Outlaw Sleep Center, Brake Masters, Kingman Furniture, Valle Vista Medical Center, JB's Restaurant, Kingman True Value, Home Style Furniture, Kingman Auto Supply, Lee's Uniforms and Embroidery, Riccardi's Auto, Slightly High Maintenance Beauty Salon, Napa Auto Parts, Walgreens at E. Andy Devine/Route 66, Brenden Theatre, KRMC, Pesty Pest Control, Scotty's Broasted Chicken, Specially Your Beauty Salon, Staples and many artistic Valle Vistans as well as Valle Vista Country Club.
We also had two local business friends who donated prizes for special raffles - Mattress and Furniture Liquidator on Route 66 and Diamond Brother's Jewelers.
Without the support of all of our merchants, we could not have had a "Blast" of a day with children's games, food and of course our fantastic fireworks display provided by Round Eyes Fireworks of Lake Havasu City.
