Kingman Letter: Thanks for a great start from Lee Williams High School

Lee Williams High School held a barbecue, an orientation, and meet-the-teacher night on Aug. 3. This invitation was not only to the incoming freshmen and their families, but to the Kingman community. We had a wonderful turnout and we enjoyed seeing all who attended.

We would like to thank MC Vending, Pepsi, Swire Coca-Cola, McKee Foods, Staples, Chris's Auto Body, JM-Eagle Kingman Plant, Ridgeview Dental, KRMC Dell Webb Wellness Center, KRMC Nutritional Services, Lee's Uniforms, Sirens Café, Hot Shots Hair Salon, Walmart, and True Value. Without your generous donations, our school opening to the public would not have been successful.

Also, a special thanks to the Elk's Lodge for cooking hotdogs, the Kingman Fire Department for sharing personal memories as well as the history behind the name of Lee Williams High School, the Kingman Police Department and the Mohave County Sheriff's Department for being on hand and helping answer questions and showing people the campus.

Our sincere thanks,
