Mohave 911: Monday, February 6, 2012
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Warren Neil Scott, 46, and Sandra Schmidt, 43, both of Dolan Springs, on Jan. 30. Scott was arrested for felony aggravated assault per domestic violence. Schmidt was arrested on a failure to pay fines issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Deputies responded around 4:15 p.m. to a wash north of 12th Street and Tom White Drive regarding screams from a woman asking for help. Upon arrival, deputies observed a black Mazda parked in a wash with two occupants. Deputies observed the male subject sitting in the driver's seat, later identified as Scott. Deputies saw a female subject, later identified as Schmidt, exit the passenger side of the vehicle with marks on her face. Schmidt said Scott placed the barrel from his gun against her face twice and threatened to shoot her. Deputies said they observed two small round marks on Schmidt's face. Deputies located a .22 caliber revolver inside the vehicle and said they determined that the pair started arguing on the way home after they left a bar. Both Scott and Schmidt were reportedly intoxicated. Scott was also charged with driving under the influence and DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 percent. A records check showed Schmidt to have an outstanding warrant. Both were arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
